This is my latest mixed media painting, which is now available in my etsy shop. It is on chunky box canvas 10" x 12" x 1.5" (25 x 30 x 3.75 cm approx.)
I have used collage, acrylics and oil pastels to build up the layers. The colours are rich reds, coppers and browns, and the foreground is heavily textured.
The canvas is gallery wrapped (i.e. the canvas sides are painted, to complement the main painting). The canvas sides are staple free and the canvas is signed and dated on the side.
