This old two story house brings back old memories of my grandmother's house. Those were the days you opened all the windows in the house for a summer breeze. Quilts were aired out by drapping them over the porch and balcony railings. Clothes were hung out to dry on the clothesline so they might have that fresh clothesline fragrance. And don't forget that pie cooling in the kitchen window. With all the new borned animals and birds in the yard you could just tell it was spring and time for that Spring Cleaning. This painting was done with pen and ink and acrylic wash.
